First Blog!

How exciting! It's our first blog entry. The Ruby Pear Tea Parlor is located in Noblesville, Indiana and has been in existence for 2 1/2 years. We are working very hard to provide the highest level of service to all who come to visit. We have wonderful customers who join us for lunch, tea party celebrations or just a simple cup of tea and shopping. We serve and sell Harney teas along with our own line of Fine Loose teas. Many different types of teapots, teacups, some lovely antiques, wonderful vintage and new jewelry, beautifully scented French milled soaps and many other items grace our 7 rooms on the first floor of the stunning Victorian House on Conner Street. Built in 1892, this home could not provide a better setting for us.

My name is Mary Ann and my parents, Connie and Steve are my partners. My Sister-In-Law, Robin, also works with us and I'm sure you will see postings from her on here since she has a tremendous gift of "gab" and a talent for beautiful words. Robin's husband, Steve (my brother), also has provided us with invaluable support with our computer systems and website creation. The youngest of our family, Michael and his wife Michelle, also provide much support with our audio systems and taste-testing our new creations. We have three more "angels" who work very hard right along with us. They are Sandra, Becky and Judy. What a tremendous blessing they are in our lives and certainly make our days full of fun, laughter and appreciation for each other.

Well, I suppose that is enough for now. My goal is to write at least once a week with hopefully something inspiring or interesting to share. Thank you for taking a peek into our world of tea, good food and hospitality. For more information our website is http://www.therubypear.com/.

With much Sincerity,

Mary Ann
